What were the main themes of the book? On the surface, the book seems to be all spy and mystery stuff. But as you discover more about Michael Chase, the reader discovers there is a family theme to the book. He knows everything he needs to know about his family and yet there were more secrets to be revealed. I liked the undercurrents that the author used to express MIchael's confusion and how he coped with what was happening to hi,.
Which did you find more appealing, the introduction or the conclusion? A little bit of both. I liked the introduction because it offered enough mystery for me to keep reading the book and I liked the conclusion because it provided closure and just enough information to get me interested in the next Michael Chase book.
Why would you recommend or not recommend this book? Yes, I will recommend this book to any mystery fan. It is a good debut novel and I can't wait to read other books by the same author.
Disclosure - I received a free book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
