At the end of the book, do you feel hope for the characters? I feel no hope for Charlie or Noor. This was really said and I didn't like that the book had to end like this.

What motivates a given character’s actions? Elani wants to survive. She is smart, takes in everything and never gives up hope. A genuine heroine in so many ways.
Did the plot pull you in or did you feel you had to force yourself to read the book? It wasn't a forced read and I look forward to reading other books in the series.
Did the book end the way you expected? To a large extent, the ending was predictable but it was still a great read.
What were the main themes of the book? Sex, drugs and rock & roll offer a stunning backdrop for other elements like murder, politics, societal issues and Lizette's inner demons.
What are some of the book's themes? Murder, mayhem, adultery, strip joints and power. All played an important part. There were many things going on in this book and as cluttered as it seemed, it mde the story more interesting.
Did you find that the cover and title represented what the story was really about? It was fast paced. It was filled with suspense and terror. The courage that Alison found deep inside herself.
